Season of Arrivals: Guide to Triumphs, Collections, and getting it all done in time

Beyond Light is only three weeks away, and with the season winding down, it’s time for the standard wrap-up post! As always, you still have enough time to finish off everything that Season of Arrivals has to offer, but you’re cutting it close if you don’t get started now! That’s where this guide comes in.

I’ll be going over the various seasonal quests, Collections, and Triumphs in this post, and I’ll have links to my other posts for this season with more info on the activities themselves. Before you head off to Europa, let’s take one last tour around the Solar System as we know it and score some good rewards in the process.

Season of Opulence guide: The Menagerie, the Tribute Hall, and Crown of Sorrow

The final season of Destiny 2’s second year, and the last one to have content that will be going into the DCV this year, season 7 marked the Season of Opulence. Guardians returned once again to the Leviathan at the invitation of Emperor Calus, who wished to shower us with gifts and get us to stand by his side when the Darkness returned. He also had a couple problems onboard that needed to be dealt with, but at least you’d get rewarded for it.

This guide will cover all of season 7’s content, including the Menagerie, the Tribute Hall, and the Crown of Sorrow raid, as well as the Chalice of Opulence and exotic quests. There’s a fair amount to cover, so let’s head back to the Leviathan one more time.

Season of the Drifter guide: Gambit Prime, the Reckoning, and Zero Hour

My very long series of guides to past seasons moves right along into Destiny 2’s sixth season, Season of the Drifter. Focused primarily on the character of the Drifter (naturally), the second Annual Pass update, Joker’s Wild, introduced a new variant of Gambit, gave more characterization to the enigmatic Drifter, and added further details about the mysterious Nine. A lot of the story in this season was setting up for bigger story beats to come, so if it feels a little light on story, don’t worry, Bungie did get back to it soon enough (this season, in fact!).

This guide will briefly talk about the differences between Gambit and Gambit Prime, go over the Gambit Prime armor sets and how to acquire them from the Reckoning, and delve into a variety of quests added during the season, including a particularly fun secret mission. Time to be bad guys.

Season of the Forge guide: Black Armory weapons, secrets, and Scourge of the Past

My series of guides for every season of Destiny 2 continues with season 5, the Season of the Forge. This season brought the Black Armory into the game, a group of weapon manufacturers from the Golden Age, led by the mysterious Ada-1. Through a series of quests, Guardians helped her reclaim the lost Forges, crafting new weapons in the process. The story also led to a ruined section of the Last City, where Fallen pirates were attempting to break into a vault of Black Armory secrets.

This guide will cover the Forge activities, weapon crafting, exotic quests, secrets, and the Scourge of the Past raid. Without further adieu, let’s start by meeting the Exo herself.

Forsaken guide, part 2: The Shattered Throne, Last Wish, and Triumphs

Welcome to part 2 of my sprawling Forsaken guide, covering everything else left in the expansion. We’ll delve into Destiny’s first dungeon, slay an Ahamkara, and talk about all manner of Triumphs and Collections and Seals, as well as a few exotic quests along the way.

It’s time to return to the Dreaming City to both start and end the curse. Time loops are weird.

Update, 9/5/20: Added the Eva’s Journey lore book.

Warmind guide: Campaign, quests, and Escalation Protocol

My series of past season guides continue with Destiny 2’s second expansion, Warmind. Much better received than the short and sometimes tonally awkward Curse of Osiris, Warmind saw us return to Mars, although a different region than Destiny 1’s Meridian Bay. Instead, we traveled to Hellas Basin, a frozen region near the Red Planet’s ice cap, which mysteriously began to thaw in the aftermath of the Red War, unleashing a long-dormant threat.

This will be the last of the guides covering Destiny 2’s first year, and with it, I’ll have covered most of the content that will soon be vaulted. There’s still some more stuff that will be going away from year 2, so I intend on continuing these guides in the weeks to come. But for now, let’s delve into the ice and help out Rasputin!

Season of the Worthy: Guide to Triumphs, Collections, and getting it all done in time

With a little over a week to go until season 11 launches, it’s time once again for my seasonal guide to finishing up everything the season has to offer. How many times will I say season this time? Who knows?

I meant to get this out a little bit earlier, but there’s still time to finish up all the Triumphs if you’re willing to put in some effort. The format’s pretty similar since there’s not a whole lot of changes between seasons, so let’s dive in.

Season of Dawn: Guide to Triumphs, Collections, and getting it all done in time

Now that we’re in the endgame for season 9, it’s your last chance to finish up the various activities in the season before they go away and claim your rewards. Even if you’re late to the party, you’ve got time to knock it all out before season 10 begins on March 3rd. You don’t even have to break the timeline to do it!

To that end, here’s a guide on the various Triumphs, item collections, and questlines you’ll want to get done if you want that shiny Savior title!
